SC 1000 was developed specifically for the investment casting industry.
This material is the heart of our next generation QuickCast pattern
technology. This material was co-developed by Solid Concepts; it is the
most viscosity stable material tested; and it produces accurate high
yield patterns. Therefore, it represents the best possible value. This
material allows us to deliver challenging geometries at consistently low prices.
Custom Build Style/Algorithm by Solid Concepts along with SC 1000
produces light and rigid investment casting patterns. These patterns
are 10 to 35% lighter than those built with other materials and standard
QuickCast build styles. This build style/material combination assures
accuracy and optimum casting yield.
Capacity is a given at Solid Concepts. We have eleven large frame
SLA Systems (20” cube build envelope) and six smaller (10” cube) systems.
Capacity translates to better on time delivery. All of these systems
are kept at peak performance by regular maintenance.
Large Part Expertise has come with fifteen years in the business. We
take on large projects that others cannot or will not. The photograph to
the right is a QuickCast pattern over six feet in diameter. We have
assembled and inspected even larger parts. For large parts, experience
with custom assembly fixtures and large part packaging is a must.
Experienced Project Engineers are assigned to each new customer.
