SOLID CONCEPTS EARNS AS9100 AEROSPACE QUALITY SYSTEMS CERTIFICATION

 

VALENCIA, CA – Solid Concepts Inc., a rapid prototyping and manufacturing company, has sought and achieved AS9100 Certification.

AS9100 is an international aerospace quality system standard that is overseen by the International Aerospace Quality Group. The quality management system is based on and exceeds the ISO 9001:2000 quality standard. It includes 80 additional requirements and 18 amplifications to the standard including independent validation of materials and processes.

While the standard is targeted to the aerospace industry, all customers benefit from the company meeting the strict quality requirements.
